“Whiplash attack, knife edge timing and a bold response to the music… Unleashed by Tony Adugun is a joy to watch”
Alston Takes Cover is a unique project, co-commissioned by The Place and Dance Umbrella. The project gave selected choreographers the opportunity to create choreographic responses to Richard Alston’s classic Wildlife (1983).
Working with dancers from ‘EDge’ London Contemporary Dance School’s postgraduate company, Tony worked with the Company creating a piece in response to Alston’s 1983 classic ‘Wildlife’ to wide critical acclaim.
Richard Alston talks to Mary Evelyn, head of postgraduate studies at LCDS, about the process of making Wildlife and his thoughts on the Alston Takes Cover project. http://youtu.be/Kc-4qT4APmA
